Programme Description

Join Instructor Kage at the Barre!

This 8 class programme is ballet based and suitable for all. Working your way through these classes you will tone, sculpt and target all muscles.

Barre is a great low impact workout, whilst still being high intensity, so you can be sure you will get results!

Don’t worry if Barre is completely new to you, Kage will talk you through each exercise and provide modifications if needed.

The benefits you will see include:

  • Improved balance and body control
  • Increased muscle tone

Beth recommends doing 2 classes per week to maximise results.

Equipment

You will preferably need a chair with a straight supportive back, and preferably also a matt for this programme.

Remember to stay hydrated. Water helps fuel your muscles, so drinking before, during and after exercise will boost your energy levels, and may help to prevent cramp.

Kage has been a professional dancer singer and actor for 20 years working on stage, TV and film and has been extremely fortunate enough to have travelled to and around the UK, Europe, East Asia, Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific islands whilst performing.

He always believed in fitness outside of performing as a way to keep the body healthy and conditioned and to keep up the fitness level up but that became a love as well as a necessity. So much so that he is now a 200 hour certified yoga teacher and Level 2 fitness instructor teaching high and low intensity cardio class and barre.

Kage believes in not only feeling good physically but also mentally and emotionally so his classes are always upbeat and fun as well as challenging and making you sweat.
